World Series Squares Rules and Scoring

Once all the squares have been selected and PAID, we will randomly pick (computer generated) numbers from 0-9 for each team in the World Series, and assign that number to a particular row or column. These numbers represent the last number in the total runs scored by each team. In other words, if the score is AL 11 - NL 9, then the winning square is the one with an AL number of 1, and an NL number of 9.  We'll keep a running total of all runs scored in each game for scoring purposes. Since no one knows what numbers each square will represent, the odds are the same for everyone.

Aggregate Scoring:
Winner of Game 1 is the last digit of the runs scored by each team in Game 1.
Winner of Game 2 is the last digit of the total runs scored by each team for games 1 & 2.
Winner of Game 3 is the last digit of the total runs scored by each team in games 1 thru 3.
Winner of Game 4 is the last digit of the total runs scored by each team in games 1 thru 4.
Winner of Game 5 is the last digit of the total runs scored by each team in games 1 thru 5.
Winner of Game 6 is the last digit of the total runs scored by each team in games 1 thru 6.
Winner of Game 7 is the last digit of the total runs scored by each team in games 1 thru 7.
There are no "bad numbers" by using this scoring method - each square has the same odds to win because no one knows what the actual score will be for each game.
If the World Series ends at game 4, the winner will receive the payout for games 4 thru 7. If the World Series ends at game 5, the winner will receive the payout for games 5 thru 7. If the World Series ends at game 6, the winner will receive the payout for games 6 & 7. If the World Series ends at game 7, the winner will receive the payout for game 7. Good luck and enjoy!

Please mail your payment immediately after you pick your squares so you don't forget! Payment must be received by October 17, 2026 or you will lose your squares. By submitting your payment, you agree to the rules.
